LED Gooseneck Wall Lamps

If you are looking for an interesting designed wall lamp, especially one that can be used to directly shine on objects for accent, the LED gooseneck wall lamp may be just what is needed. There are many different designs available, although most are fairly simple. While the gooseneck lamp itself may not be considered such a decorative object that in itself is great as it will not detract from the items it is highlighting.
LED lighting has one main benefit over regular lights, they do not heat up in the same way. This makes it possible to shine a LED light directly onto an object without having to worry that it will harm the item in any way. If you want to illuminate items on shelving, for example, a strategically placed LED wall lamp can do so very nicely. The great thing with gooseneck lamps is that you can turn or twist them a variety of directions thus you are not actually locked into having the light shine any one direction which is helpful if you tend to change your display around often.
A LED gooseneck wall lamp is also great for shining down on indoor pot plants. Again, the lack of heat generated from the bulbs is a plus in this situation as you do not need to worry about overheating your plant or damaging or burning the leaves or flowers. Of course, if you are looking for lighting that will actually provide heat for your plant LED lights would not really be that useful, however for accenting they are great.
Wall LED gooseneck lamps may or may not be that useful for reading. It really would depend on the strength of the lamp and the light it gives off. Many of these type of lamps actually have quite a soft light, not bright enough to use for reading by. If you want a gooseneck lamp that is good for reading you would probably be better to choose one with regular or halogen light bulbs, or one that has small florescent tubing inside.
